Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman, a U.S. Congress member from New Jersey’s 12th district, has taken to social media to express her views on recent political developments. Watson Coleman, who has been serving in Congress since 2015, used Twitter as a platform to critique statements and actions by influential figures and policies affecting the nation.

On March 10, 2025, Rep. Watson Coleman responded to comments made by Elon Musk regarding Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. "Elon Musk calls for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid to be 'eliminated.' The richest man in the world wants to pull the rug out from underneath families who worked their whole lives paying into these programs, all while funneling more government money to his businesses."

The following day, March 11, she commented on a rule related to tariffs implemented during former President Trump's administration. "Here's what we're talking about. This rule means Republicans won't have to take a position on Trump's tariffs. They want to let Trump raise the cost of basic goods without any accountability to their voters or their communities. It's pathetic."

Additionally, Rep. Watson Coleman shared a video featuring Representative Jim McGovern discussing the impact of these tariffs on the economy and living costs.
