Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) have released preliminary data on wagering for Super Bowl LIX, which took place on February 9, 2025.

According to reports from Atlantic City casinos and New Jersey equine racetracks, total wagers amounted to approximately $168.7 million. The projected payout for sports wagering was about $143.5 million, resulting in a win of nearly $25.2 million for the sports wagering books.

This year's total reflects a 19% increase compared to the previous year's Super Bowl wagers, which totaled $141.6 million.

The figures include revenue from New Jersey's 11 retail sportsbooks and 14 mobile sports wagering applications.
