This morning, the Bridgeton community is mourning the loss of Sgt. Monica Mosley, a detective with the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office. She was shot and killed in her home last night. Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin expressed his condolences, stating, “Each of us should be able to feel safe in our homes, and when that safety is broken, it impacts us all.”
The investigation into Sgt. Mosley's death is ongoing. Attorney General Platkin extended sympathies to her family, friends, and colleagues who worked closely with her. He described Sgt. Mosley as "a dedicated public servant" known for her commitment to justice and devotion to her community.
Sgt. Mosley's service has been acknowledged with gratitude by those who knew her.
