The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has released the total gaming revenue results for April 2024. The data shows a mixed picture, with some sectors experiencing growth while others saw declines.
Based on filings with the Division of Gaming Enforcement, Casino Win for the nine casino hotel properties was $216.8 million for April 2024. This figure represents a decrease of 6.3% when compared to $231.5 million reported in April 2023. Year-to-date Casino Win for these properties was $872.9 million, marking a decrease of 1.6% compared to $886.8 million for the prior year-to-date period.
For Internet Gaming Win, casinos and their partners reported $187.9 million for April 2024, reflecting an increase of 18.2% when compared to $158.9 million reported in April 2023. For the year-to-date period, Internet Gaming Win reported by casinos and their partners amounted to $750.7 million, showing a growth of 21.1% when compared to $620.1 million for the prior year-to-date period.
Sports Wagering Gross Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners reached $106.2 million for April 2024, marking a significant increase of 46.9% when compared to $72.3 million reported in April 2023. For the year-to-date period, Sports Wagering Gross Revenue was $434.2 million, reflecting a substantial increase of 48.6% when compared to $292.3 million reported in the prior year-to-date period.
Total Gaming Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was recorded at $510.9 million for April 2024 - an increase of 10.4% from the previous year's figure of $462.7 million in April 2023.
For year-to-date, Total Gaming Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $2.06 billion. This represents a 14.4% increase from the $1.80 billion reported in the prior year-to-date period.
