Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) have introduced an expansion to the state's Responsible Gaming initiatives. This enhancement allows individuals who wish to self-exclude from gambling at physical casinos to do so online via the DGE website, eliminating the necessity for travel or video conferencing.

"While gambling can be fun for some, it is not for everyone, and I’m committed to helping those who want a more proactive approach to managing their gaming. Expanding our self-exclusion portal makes it easier for those who wish to prevent their entry to a casino to do so," stated Attorney General Platkin. He commended the DGE team for facilitating this improvement.

The tool offers 24/7 access, enabling users to decide from home securely and privately. The initiative builds on existing options that allow exclusion from internet gaming platforms as well.
