Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 12th district since 2015, shared her thoughts and activities on social media recently. Her posts touched on a range of topics from commemorating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy to commenting on political figures and providing information to her constituents.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Watson Coleman reflected on her participation in an event honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. She emphasized the importance of adhering to King's ideals and following his example, stating: "Yesterday, I spent the day celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at an event in Franklin Township. Now more than ever we have a responsibility to live up to the ideals that King espoused. Now more than ever we are called to follow in his defiant footsteps."

Later that day, she expressed a critical view of Tommy Tuberville with a pointed remark about his perceived lack of courage or critical thinking skills: "If I didn't see it, it didn't happen" Well I've never seen Tommy Tuberville display any kind of courage or critical thinking skills, so I guess they don't exist."

In another post on January 21, 2025, Rep. Watson Coleman urged residents of New Jersey's 12th district to be informed about their rights by sharing resources for further information: "NJ-12 Residents - KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. Please review and share the information below." More information can be found in the link beneath this post.
