Today, Governor Murphy signed into law two significant bills. The first, A3853/S2988, extends pay parity for telemedicine and telehealth services until July 1, 2026. This bill was sponsored by Conaway, McCoy, Speight in the Assembly and Gopal, Pou in the Senate.

The second bill, A5151/S3957, permits public bodies to continue using newspapers for required public notices and legal advertisements until a specified date. This legislation was introduced by Atkins, Carter, McCann Stamato in the Assembly and Sarlo, Scutari, Bucco in the Senate.

These legislative actions reflect ongoing efforts to address healthcare access through telehealth and maintain traditional methods of public communication.
