Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 12th district since replacing Rush Holt Jr. in 2015, recently addressed issues concerning environmental and socioeconomic challenges on social media.

On April 22, 2025, Rep. Coleman expressed concerns about environmental pollution, particularly how it disproportionately affects lower-income neighborhoods. She stated, "It's an empirical, provable fact that toxic pollution of our air and water is more likely to impact lower income neighborhoods. But instead of lowering the cost of living, Trump is making sure the people most affected by high prices also don't have clean air or clear water."

In a follow-up post on the same day, Coleman shared a link, "https://t.co/BcHhiaW2g5." The content of the link was not specified in the tweet.

On April 23, 2025, Rep. Coleman posted another update consisting of two links, "https://t.co/VsK2ogX9ae https://t.co/r6udBm15RD." Again, the specific content of these links was not detailed in the tweet.

Bonnie Watson Coleman is a seasoned politician born in Camden, New Jersey, in 1945, and currently resides in Ewing Township. She graduated from Thomas Edison State University in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree and previously, from 2006 to 2010, served in the New Jersey General Assembly.
