Dr. Yi Huang and Dr. Jenna Mancinelli, both fellowship-trained breast surgeons, have joined Capital Health as part of its Cancer Center and Center for Comprehensive Breast Care. They will be offering office appointments in Pennington, New Jersey, and Newtown, Pennsylvania. Their services include advanced treatments for breast cancer, skin-sparing/nipple-sparing mastectomies, and oncoplastic and hidden scar procedures.
“Capital Health is known for providing women in our region the best possible treatment for breast cancer and other breast health conditions,” stated Dr. Huang, who takes on the role of medical director at the Center for Comprehensive Breast Care. “Our nationally accredited program is designed to inspire confidence in our patients, and I’m excited to work with Dr. Mancinelli and lead an expansive team that includes radiologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, plastic surgeons, pathologists, rehabilitation services, and other support services.”
Prior to joining Capital Health, Dr. Huang served as a breast surgeon and director of the breast program at Jefferson Health – Northeast in Philadelphia. She completed her general surgery residency at Northwell North Shore – Long Island Jewish in Manhasset, New York as Chief Resident before undertaking a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Yale University.
Dr. Jenna Mancinelli finished her general surgery residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) where she was Chief Resident. She then pursued fellowship training in breast surgical oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
The Capital Health Center for Comprehensive Breast Care provides a full range of personalized care programs from genetic testing to surgical care all located at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell. The multidisciplinary team collaborates closely to develop personalized treatment plans for various conditions including cancer and other breast-related disorders.
