The College of New Jersey's School of Business is set to host its 14th annual Women's Leadership Summit on October 30. The event will take place in TCNJ’s Education Building and aims to bring together female business leaders for a day filled with presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Sylvia Baffour, the keynote speaker, will address the significance of emotional intelligence in professional settings. She plans to share strategies designed to enhance self-awareness, resilience, motivation, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, Baffour will conduct a session specifically tailored for TCNJ students.

Baffour has been recognized as one of Hubspot’s Top 15 Female Motivational Speakers alongside notable figures such as Oprah Winfrey and Mel Robbins. As an emotional intelligence coach, she offers training for both individuals and corporate groups. Her book "I Dare You to Care" was published in 2019.

The summit will also feature breakout sessions led by various speakers who will cover topics like overcoming self-sabotage, achieving self-empowerment, finding inner peace, managing stress effectively, and transforming pressure into power.

Speakers at these sessions include Moniquea Clark from Agape Healing & Yoga Wellness Studio; Denise Fuchs of Dream Builders by Design; Triccia Ramos, a high-performance coach; Sandra Schwartz, a school administrator; and Tamar Spitzer, a feminist researcher.

This year's summit receives sponsorship from TCNJ’s Alumni Association and School of Business along with Mercadien, Withum, and America’s SBDC NJ.
