Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 12th district since 2015, has recently shared her perspectives on various legislative and societal issues through a series of tweets. Born in Camden, New Jersey in 1945, Coleman has been an active political figure with a history of public service both at the state and federal levels.

On November 18, 2024, Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman expressed her support for a legislative initiative by stating "I'm a proud co-sponsor of @RepMarkTakano 's bill, the Restoring Overtime Pay Act, which would expand protections for overtime pay." This act aims to enhance worker rights regarding overtime compensation.

In another tweet dated November 19, 2024, Rep. Watson Coleman addressed concerns about intimidation tactics that she described as terroristic. She wrote "This is terrorism, plain and simple. Using fear as a weapon. This racist intimidation is designed to frighten us and divide us. It’s despicable." She called for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces to investigate these actions and prosecute those responsible.

Later on the same day, Rep. Watson Coleman criticized political maneuvers within Capitol Hill by commenting "The most dangerous place in the Capitol is between Nancy Mace and a TV camera." She characterized these actions as attempts to divert attention from what she perceives as inadequate economic policies proposed by certain GOP members.
