Belinda Silver, an accomplished Fiber Artist with a passion for anything related to the textile world, instructed patrons in the art of spinning yarn for March's Crafternoon at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch. Participants learned about processing sheep fleece and spinning yarn, and had a chance to practice spinning their own yarn on DIY drop spindles.
Join the Crafternoon crew for our next session featuring "String Art" on Tuesday, April 18th at 3:00pm! Librarian Kimberley will teach patrons how to make 1 of 3 different unique string art designs using corkboard, pins and string.
