50 percent of applicants to The College of New Jersey were admitted for fall 2018

At The College of New Jersey, 97 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Ewing enrolled 7,686 students in fall 2018, including 7,048 in undergraduate and 638 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

93 percent of undergraduates are residents of New Jersey, and 6 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (64 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (13 percent).

The school admitted 50 percent of the 13,625 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 23 percent enrolled.
