Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, a U.S. Congress member representing New Jersey’s 12th district since 2015, has voiced concerns on social media regarding various national and international issues. Her recent posts address topics such as data privacy, military actions, and humanitarian crises.

On June 9, 2025, Rep. Watson Coleman commented on the creation of a database by Palantir that includes personal data of Americans, alongside military actions in Washington D.C., stating “Palantir creating database of Americans personal data, tanks rolling down the streets of DC for a military parade, the president activating national guard troops against the will of the governor.” She further added that there is a reason former President Trump does not want history taught in schools, suggesting it serves as a warning.

Later that day, she addressed the humanitarian situation in Gaza by highlighting food shortages and Israel’s commandeering of aid. In her tweet at 17:36 UTC, she remarked “Not enough food is entering Gaza to prevent a famine. Now Israel is commandeering aid.” She criticized Israel’s actions against civilians and urged for increased aid.

In another post on June 9 at 23:16 UTC, Rep. Watson Coleman expressed concern over former President Trump’s deployment of Marines, describing it as illegal and indicative of authoritarianism. She stated “Trump’s deployment of the Marines is ILLEGAL. It’s a major step in his march toward fascism taken right out of the authoritarian’s playbook.”

Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman was born in Camden, New Jersey in 1945 and currently resides in Ewing Township. She graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985.
