Senator Latham Tiver, a Republican representing Burlington and Atlantic counties, has received the Paul L. Troast Award from the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA). The award was presented at NJBIA’s Public Policy Forum in Princeton and is given to policymakers whose work supports New Jersey’s economic growth, job creation, government efficiency, and efforts to make the state more attractive for business.
“I’m grateful to NJBIA for this recognition,” said Senator Tiver. “Supporting New Jersey’s small businesses means creating a climate where entrepreneurs can succeed, workers can find good-paying jobs, and employers are encouraged to invest in our state. I will continue fighting for practical, pro-growth policies that strengthen our economy and expand opportunity for families across the Garden State.”
Senator Tiver is a member of the Senate Environment and Energy Committee. In this role, he has focused on reducing regulatory burdens on businesses while supporting measures that encourage economic development in New Jersey.
Senator Anthony M. Bucco also serves as Senate Republican Leader and chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee while serving on the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee according to his official website. He provides constituent services through his district office and email for legislative inquiries as stated on his official page. Bucco engages in legislative work such as sponsoring bills and participating in committee discussions on key issues facing the state (source). He represents the 25th Legislative District in the New Jersey Legislature (source).
