The College of New Jersey’s School of Business has been ranked 53rd in Poets&Quants for Undergrads’ annual Best Undergraduate Business Schools for 2025. This marks an improvement, moving up five places from the previous year’s ranking.
Poets&Quants’ ranking is recognized as a comprehensive evaluation of undergraduate business programs. In the 2025 report, a total of 104 schools were assessed.
The rankings are derived from three equally-weighted categories: Admission Standards, Academic Experience, and Career Outcomes. Each category contributes one-third to the final ranking score.
Data for these rankings was collected through a survey involving over 5,900 alumni and information reported by the schools. The survey focused on aspects such as faculty availability, extracurricular opportunities, and the accessibility of the alumni network.
Tammy Dieterich, interim dean of TCNJ’s School of Business, commented on the achievement: “TCNJ continues to attract high school graduates who are at the top of their class as well as high-achieving transfer students,” she said. “Bringing together motivated students with faculty who challenge and encourage them is a winning combination. The feedback from recent graduates gathered by Poets&Quants means the world to us because their success is our success.”
