TCNJ senior safety Justin Kurc has been named to the D3football.com All-Region 2 third team, marking the first time he has received this recognition.

Kurc concluded his final season by leading the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) in interceptions with six, a figure that also tied him for sixth place nationally among Division III players. He returned two of those interceptions for touchdowns—one during the season opener at Lycoming and another at Castleton—bringing his career total to three interception returns for scores.

In addition to his interception numbers, Kurc recorded nine passes defensed in 2025, ranking fourth in the NJAC for that statistic. Over his college career, he amassed 24 passes defensed and surpassed 100 total tackles. His 11 career interceptions—all collected in the past two seasons—place him among the top ten in TCNJ program history.

Kurc’s performance this year earned him first-team all-conference honors. Throughout his tenure at TCNJ, he was recognized twice as an All-NJAC honoree, named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week on two occasions, and selected twice for the D3football.com Team of the Week.
