TCNJ field hockey player Brigitte Racey has been named to the NFHCA Division III Senior Team, according to an announcement from the organization on Thursday.

Racey is among 60 players from across Division III selected for this honor. The recognition highlights athletes who have demonstrated competitive excellence, leadership, and a lasting impact within their programs. The selection process involves nominations by NFHCA member coaches and review by committees made up of coach members. Seniors can only be chosen once during their collegiate careers.

During her senior season, Racey was named to the All-NJAC First Team for the second consecutive year. She also became the first TCNJ goalkeeper since Christina Fabiano in 2017 to receive Goalkeeper of the Year honors. According to the release, “Racey was an easy choice, posting three solo shutouts in league play and leading the conference by a wide margin in both goals-against-average (.484) and save percentage (.850).”

Over the course of the season, Racey recorded a .836 save percentage and a 1.01 goals-against average with six solo shutouts. She ends her career ranked fourth in program history with 246 saves and has registered 15 shutouts.
