TCNJ senior linebacker Bill Westerby has been selected for the D3football.com Team of the Week following his performance in the final regular-season game against Christopher Newport.
Westerby, playing his last collegiate game on Senior Night, recorded 12 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss, and forced two fumbles. One of these was a strip-sack that was recovered by teammate Darian Ghahary. Christopher Newport entered the game undefeated and ranked seventh nationally.
Over the course of the season, Westerby ranked second on the team with 63 tackles and third with 4.5 tackles for loss. He also led TCNJ in forced fumbles with three. His career totals include 155 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and two fumble recoveries.
