TCNJ men’s track & field achieves multiple top finishes at Hound Classic

The TCNJ Lions men’s track and field team participated in the Hound Classic at Moravian, achieving several notable results across both track and field events.

In the distance events, William O’Donovan secured first place in the 3000 meters with a time of 9:04.61. Teammates Simon Bernhardt and Nate Kidwell also finished strongly, taking third and seventh places respectively. In the 800 meters, David Keefe finished second, while Lucas Lattimer and Brody Dillich placed seventh and tenth.

Nihar Tantry earned a ninth-place finish in the 400 meters. In the 60-meter hurdles, Jayvee Dumas finished third, narrowly ahead of fourth place by less than one hundredth of a second. Ryan Segalla set a personal record with his fifth-place finish in the mile (4:24.54).

The Lions dominated the 5000 meters by taking the top four positions. Anthony Guarino led with a time of 15:48.82, followed by Sean Haggerty, Silas Matteson, and Sawyer Stellitano.

In relay competition, the team of Dumas, Dillich, Tantry, and Lattimer took fourth place in the 4×400 meter event.

On the field side, Braden Paulmenn won shot put with a throw of 15.36 meters; Christian Farhat was second (14.82), and Jayson Lewis third (14.73). Xavier Lynch also made it into the top ten in shot put.

Paulmenn achieved a personal record in weight throw with a mark of 14.57 meters for fourth place; Farhat placed eighth with 13.26 meters.

Dumas matched his season-best height to win pole vault at 4.55 meters; Matthew Corrigan came sixth at 3.95 meters.

Ryan Donnelly placed ninth in long jump (6.39m). In high jump, Maxwell Reilly finished sixth; Tyler Meier tied for seventh; Nihar Tantry was ninth.
