TCNJ men’s swimming and diving finishes strong at home invitational

On the final day of the TCNJ Invitational, the men’s swimming and diving team from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) concluded a strong performance. In the 1-meter diving event, Wyatt Marble finished fourth with a score of 288.10, while Joshua Kosukhin and Joshua Bouchard placed sixth and seventh with scores of 257.15 and 232.65 respectively.

Among swimmers, Tyler McGeehan achieved an NCAA B cut time in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:00.79. Gavin Formon started off with a win in the 1650 Freestyle at 15:59.84 and secured second place in the next event, finishing behind teammate Mason Bushay who won the 200 Backstroke at 1:51.53. Riley Smith took first place in the 100 Freestyle at 45.99 seconds, and Pablo Salazar won the 200 Butterfly at 1:49.82.

The meet ended with TCNJ’s B relay team—composed of Derin Ozbas, Kyle Brushaber, Nate Ross, and Riley Smith—finishing second.

Overall, TCNJ accumulated a total of 1,429 points during the invitational, nearly twice as many as the second-place team.

The Lions will compete next against NYU and Fordham in New York City on December 6.
