The TCNJ women’s cross country and track and field teams have had five student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. This recognition was announced earlier this week by the organization.
Kerri McCarthy, Kelly O’Grady, and Cassidy Quinn are recognized for the second time, while Eliza Bruncaj and Mackenzie Burke received their first selection. The CSC Academic All-District Women’s Track & Field Teams honor top student-athletes for their performances in athletics and academics across four divisions: NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA.
Eliza Bruncaj, an Early Childhood/Special Education major with a 3.58 GPA, achieved her first CSC Academic All-District selection after an impressive year on the track. She earned Second Team All-NJAC honors in the 60-meter hurdles and Honorable Mention in the 400-meter hurdles. Additionally, she received All-Metro Region status in both the 100-meter hurdles and pentathlon.
Mackenzie Burke combined her relay skills with a 3.87 GPA as a Nursing major to earn her first Academic All-District nod. The sophomore collected four All-NJAC honors, including a first-place finish in the 4×100 relay, along with four All-Metro Region selections.
Criminology major Kerri McCarthy completed her final season at TCNJ with a 3.83 GPA. She received an Honorable Mention nod in weight throw during indoor season before becoming NJAC and AARTFC Champion in Hammer Throw outdoors.
Kelly O’Grady is now a two-time Academic All-District honoree with a 3.96 GPA as a Criminology major. In 2025, she was a four-time All-NJAC Second Team member and part of TCNJ’s AARTFC Champion 4×400 team.
Cassidy Quinn rounds out the selections with her second career recognition. With a master’s degree in iSTEM and a cumulative GPA of 3.79, she earned First Team All-NJAC honors in cross country and qualified for NCAA events.
