During a visit to Galveston, Texas, TCNJ Biomedical Engineering students had the opportunity to explore NASA's Johnson Space Center. This exclusive tour coincided with their presentation at NASA’s 2025 Human Research Program Investigators’ Workshop.

The students experienced a unique tour of the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility, gaining close-up access to the Orion and Soyuz capsules, which are crucial for human spaceflight missions. They also visited the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory and observed the Orion Capsule submerged in water for astronaut training simulations. At the NASA Mission Control Center, they noted the BME workstation located next to the Flight Surgeon’s desk.

Jeremy Liegner, Stephanie Frolio, and Gia Perdikis were among those who participated in this event. Their involvement underscores TCNJ's dedication to providing hands-on learning and research opportunities in engineering and space medicine.
