Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way, along with the New Jersey-India Commission and a delegation from New Jersey, concluded an economic mission in New Delhi. On December 15, the group visited cultural landmarks to explore India's heritage and architecture. The following day, Way met with U.S. Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti to reinforce ties between the two nations.

This initiative includes a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) involving the New Jersey Department of State, The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and Rowan University.
The mission included participation in the South Asia Women in Energy (SAWIE) Annual Leadership Summit. This event supports women in energy sectors across South Asia by promoting mentorship and skill development.
