On March 28, 2025, she emphasized the necessity of an arms embargo. In her post, “An arms embargo is the only way to preserve what remains of America’s moral standing in the world, and to put an end to the indiscriminate bombardment of innocent Palestinian children.” She invites readers to her op-ed in Newsweek for more insights.

Later the same day, March 28, 2025, she announced her support for Rumeysa Ozturk, joined by several lawmakers. According to her post, “Today I joined @RepPressley @SenWarren @SenMarkey and dozens of my colleagues in sending a letter to ICE demanding the release of Rumeysa Ozturk.”

On March 30, 2025, she extended well-wishes to those celebrating Eid. In her message, she wrote, “As those who celebrate mark the end of Ramadan, I pray we all carry forward its lessons of compassion, generosity, and justice. Wishing our Muslim neighbors in NJ-12 and beyond a blessed Eid, and hope for a better tomorrow. Eid Mubarak!”
