Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, who represents New Jersey’s 12th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on her official X account during early April 2026, marking both religious and public health observances.
On April 5, 2026, Watson Coleman shared a brief message: “Thank God.” Later that day, she offered well wishes for the holiday: “Happy Easter to all my friends celebrating today.”
The following day, April 6, she acknowledged National Public Health Week with another post: “Happy National Public Health Week! This week, we celebrate the dedicated public health professionals who keep our communities safe and healthy and recognize that building a healthier future is a shared responsibility.”
Watson Coleman has served as a member of Congress since 2015 after succeeding Rush Holt Jr., according to her congressional biography. She previously represented constituents in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2006 to 2010. Born in Camden in 1945 and now residing in Ewing Township at age 78, Watson Coleman earned her bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State University in 1985.
