Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman, currently serving New Jersey’s 12th district in the U.S. Congress, has expressed her views on multiple contentious issues via her social media platform. In a series of tweets, she addresses international incidents and domestic political issues.

On April 7, 2025, Rep. Watson Coleman tweeted about a tragic incident involving an American teenager. She stated: “This is an atrocity. Amer was 14-years-old. He was an American citizen, from Saddle Brook, NJ. How can the Israeli military possibly justify shooting and killing an American teenager in cold blood? The US must step in and stop this madness.”

At the same time, she shared another post regarding the situation: “https://t.co/56CNMHIrcZ”, linking to external content relevant to her earlier statement.

Later, on April 7, 2025, she commented on shifting political dynamics within Congress. Watson Coleman remarked: “This chaos could be avoided if Congressional Republicans would just stand up to Trump for once in their lives. We can constrain this president, but only if Republicans get on board. Until then, they own every job cut and dollar lost by this gross incompetence.”
