Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, U.S. Congresswoman representing New Jersey’s 12th district, recently used her social media platform to highlight key issues and events, including Black Maternal Health Week and the return of Artemis II.

On April 8, 2026, Rep. Watson Coleman shared a post that included two links: “https://t.co/JNhg7tHhVz https://t.co/pwG01vVEZl”.

Three days later, on April 11, 2026, she welcomed the Artemis II mission back with the message: “Welcome home, Artemis II !!! https://t.co/hxwfiGY3iL”.

Later that day, Rep. Watson Coleman addressed disparities in maternal health outcomes during Black Maternal Health Week. She wrote: “During Black Maternal Health Week, we raise awareness of and take action to end our maternal health crisis. Black women are three times more likely to die from a pregnancy-related cause. My HealthyMOM Act, which I introduced with @Sen_Alsobrooks would save countless lives by https://t.co/teiRSKnjMF”.

Watson Coleman has represented New Jersey’s 12th district in Congress since 2015 after succeeding Rush Holt Jr., following prior service in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2006 to 2010. Born in Camden in 1945 and currently residing in Ewing Township, she earned her BA from Thomas Edison State University in 1985.
