Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, who represents New Jersey’s 12th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed legislative matters and constituent concerns in a series of posts on her official social media account in early October 2025.

On October 7, 2025, Watson Coleman directly addressed another public figure, writing, “You don’t need legal analysts, Mike. The law is clear. And you should remember, you voted for it 6 years ago.”

Later, on October 8, she thanked her constituents for their participation in a community event, posting, “Thank you to the over 12,000 12th District residents who joined our teletown hall tonight, especially those who shared their concerns about the Republican cuts to healthcare.”

In another post the same day, Watson Coleman discussed her legislative work and involvement with national commemorative efforts, stating, “I co-chair the America 250 Caucus, I sit on the semiquincentennial commission, and I helped write this bill with Rep. Watson Coleman has served as a U.S. Representative for New Jersey’s 12th District since 2015, succeeding Rush Holt Jr. She previously served in the New Jersey General Assembly between 2006 and 2010 and has been active in legislative and community initiatives throughout her tenure. Born in Camden, New Jersey in 1945, Watson Coleman resides in Ewing Township and earned her BA from Thomas Edison State University in 1985.
