Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, a U.S. Congresswoman representing New Jersey’s 12th district since 2015, addressed issues ranging from infrastructure to public health and local athletes in a series of posts on February 13, 2026.

In her first post, Watson Coleman highlighted the significance of regional transportation infrastructure, stating on February 13: “The Gateway tunnel represents necessary infrastructure for the millions who move along the Northeast corridor every day and is vital for the continued economic growth of the region and the country and for the workers involved in its construction. The President’s funding freeze”.

Later that day, she expressed support for New Jersey athletes competing in winter sports events: “Best of Luck to Kelly Curtis of Princeton who will be competing in the Skeleton and Brianna Schnorrbusch of Monroe who will be competing in Snowboard Cross today. New Jersey is rooting for you.”

Addressing environmental concerns, Watson Coleman wrote on February 13: “Scientists have warned for years that greenhouse gases are a public health threat. The last 11 years have been the 11 hottest ever recorded. This move is shameful, and his denial of the science in favor of his billionaire buddies puts our families’ health at risk. Between this,”

Watson Coleman has represented New Jersey’s 12th District since replacing Rush Holt Jr. in Congress in 2015. She previously served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2006 to 2010. Born in Camden, New Jersey, in 1945, she currently resides in Ewing Township and earned her BA from Thomas Edison State University in 1985.
