New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement reports higher annual internet and sports betting revenues

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has released the total gaming revenue results for December 2025. According to the report, casino win for the nine casino hotels in Atlantic City reached $216.1 million for December, marking a 6.7% decrease from the $231.8 million reported in December 2024. For the entire year, however, casino win increased by 2.7% to $2.89 billion.

Internet gaming continued to show significant growth. Internet gaming win for casinos and their partners was $273.2 million in December 2025, a rise of 19.8% compared to December 2024’s $228 million. For all of 2025, internet gaming win totaled $2.91 billion, reflecting an annual growth rate of 22%.

Sports wagering gross revenue also saw strong gains. In December 2025, sports wagering gross revenue for casinos, racetracks, and their partners stood at $116.3 million—an increase of 85% over the $62.8 million reported a year earlier. Annual sports wagering gross revenue reached $1.18 billion in 2025, up by 7.5% from $1.09 billion in 2024.

Total gaming revenue—which includes figures from casinos, racetracks, and their partners—was $605.6 million for December 2025, showing a growth rate of 15.9% compared to the previous December’s figure of $522.6 million. For all of 2025, total gaming revenue amounted to $6.98 billion—a year-over-year increase of 10.8%. Gross revenue taxes collected were reported as $89.9 million for December and totaled $884.1 million for the full year.
