TCNJ cross country head coach Justin Lindsey has been named the Men’s Coach of the Year for the Metro region, according to an announcement from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday.

The 2025 season marked a significant achievement for Lindsey and his team. The TCNJ Lions secured their first regional championship since 2005. Under Lindsey’s guidance, seven runners—Brandon Chen, Matthew Granizo, Kevin Matthews, Evan Melito, Phil Pace, Moksh Patwari, and Josh Santiago—earned spots on the All-Region Team.

Additionally, Brandon Chen won the program’s first individual regional title since 2002. Lindsey recently completed his 13th year as head coach at TCNJ.

“This recognition reflects not only my efforts but also the hard work and dedication of our athletes,” Lindsey said in response to receiving the award.
