On Friday, March 28, former Steinert High School standout Jack Gill’s current college team, the Wheaton Thunder, lost 15-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Carthage Firebirds.

The game took place at Augie Schmidt Field. This was their first matchup against the Firebirds this season.

The Thunder’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Lee Pfund Stadium against Carthage Firebirds.
