On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Hamilton West High School standout Walter Cordero’s current collegiate team the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats lost 24-28 against the Eastern Eagles in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
The game took place at Shadek Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Eastern Eagles in the tournament.
NJSIAA celebrates Women’s History Month by honoring Ruth Kellett, a pioneering coach and one of New Jersey’s first female athletic directors. The recognition highlights her contributions at Pequannock High School and her role in advancing women in athletics.
The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association honored Vonnie Gros for Women’s History Month. Gros, a Palmyra High School graduate, played a key role in developing field hockey in America.
