Capital Thrift has been named the Best Thrift Store in Mercer County for 2025 by BusinessRate, an online platform that evaluates businesses using Google review data to compare performance against local competitors. The store is located at 2783 US-1 South in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and is operated by volunteers from Capital Health and the Capital Health Foundation.

The award was given based on customer satisfaction, brand reputation, and service excellence. Leslie Gibbons, volunteer store manager, stated: “This recognition is a direct reflection of the dedication, warmth, and commitment of the incredible volunteers who manage and operate Capital Thrift with care and purpose each day. Their efforts not only create a welcoming retail experience but also advance Capital Health’s mission by supporting programs that benefit our patients and community.”

The Capital Health Foundation raises funds to support Capital Health’s mission to improve health outcomes in urban and suburban communities.
