U.S. Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman, who represents New Jersey’s 12th district, recently shared several statements on her official Twitter account addressing both national political developments and community milestones.
On January 14, 2026, Rep. Watson Coleman announced the introduction of Articles of Impeachment against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem alongside Rep. Robin Kelly. She stated: “Today, I stood with @RepRobinKelly to introduce Articles of Impeachment against DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. Her malicious and incompetent leadership has led to chaos across the nation. Americans did not ask for this. Democrats will not stand for it.”

Watson Coleman has served in Congress since 2015 after succeeding Rush Holt Jr., having previously held office in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2006 to 2010. Born in Camden in 1945 and currently residing in Ewing Township at age 78, she is an alumna of Thomas Edison State University.
